DOCUMENT SUPPORT SERVICES
Document Support Services provides review of your existing documents as well as assistance in design from conceptual design through complete construction documents.
It is WMC&T’s experience that water intrusion and installation issues during design and construction do not occur in the standard field of products or elevations, but occur at points of termination and overlaps with adjacent products and design. WMC&T provides your company with knowledge of products and design failures through observation, testing, and forensic discovery and provides experience derived from real world applications.
WMC&T’s Document Support Services Team provides a report that demonstrates and explains the design or constructability issue related to an observed deficiency while also providing a correct or alternate design method without deviating or modifying the original design intent.
WMC&T provides the following Document Support Services:
- Architectural Document Review - Detailed review of the project plans exterior envelope components, wall sections, and related details for their ability to function as intended as well as compliance with industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Conceptual Design Consulting - Consulting services provided during the conceptual design phase allowing for a more expedited design and early detection of design issues prior to detailed design.
- Construction Documents Review - Exterior envelope review process covering construction documents including Project Plans, Project Specifications, and related Shop Drawings.
- Contractor Document Review - Review of Construction Document for preparation of R.F.I. (Request for Information) documents to assist in reimbursement procurement of items not covered in design.
- Specifications Review - Review of Project Specifications providing recommendations for exterior envelope related sections.
