BUILDING CONDITION SURVEYS
Water Management Consultants & Testing, Inc. conducts building envelope condition surveys when our clients purchase or refinance properties, have reoccurring water intrusion, or are part of a preventative maintenance program when exterior products are reaching the end of their service life. These surveys assist in evaluating current performance of the building envelope to identify areas of water entry into the structure that need to be maintained to prevent future water intrusion. This helps our clients understand current and future expenses related to the building envelope and minimize their future risk.
Over the years our team has conducted surveys on multi-family apartments, condominiums, and commercial properties nationwide and in the Caribbean. WMC&T begins the process with a review of all pertinent project documents including architectural drawings, Requests for Information, and maintenance logs. Our team utilizes a wide array of testing equipment from infrared cameras to moisture meters and borescopes. This equipment does not determine our findings, but validates our conclusions. Our findings and recommendations are incorporated into an easy to read picture and text format report that allows our client to make educated decisions about their property.
